Carmel Place (formerly known as My Micro NY) is the winner of the City of New York’s adAPT NYC Request for Proposals, the most responded-to RFP in the City’s history.

The development is composed of 55 rental apartments ranging in size from 260 and 360 square feet. This pilot project is meant to test an old housing typology in a modern context as the needs and characteristics of New York City’s residents evolve.

Monadnock Construction completed the building in 2016. The total size of the project is 35,000 square feet and it was built using pre-fabricated modules shipped from the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The building was financed using subsidy and loans from NYC HPD.
